Application
EcoPureTM Deep Bed Sand Filters have been designed for installation after the
incoming mains water supply. As water flows through the deep bed of granular filter
media, rust, sand particles and other solids are trapped by the filter bed allowing
pristine, clean filtered water to flow throughout the entire household or business.
EcopureTM Deep Bed Sand Filters are supplied standard with a high quality oil filled
pressure gauge to indicate when it is necessary to clean the filter media. The filter
is very easy to maintain. To clean, simply turn the multiport valve handle to "Backwash".
This procedure reverses the flow of water through the filter, flushing the filter media
of the trapped contaminants.
Ecopure Deep Bed Sand Filters are suitable for use with ZeoPure™ mineral filtration
media. ZeoPureTM mineral filtration media. ZeoPure provides many additional
benefits to standard Silica sand including filtration below 10 microns, ammonia
absorption, softer water and reduced rust formation in pipes - see the separate
ZeoPure™ In addition, the EcoPure Deep Bed Sand Filters can be used with other
